IN OUR RAPIDLY CHANGING, LANDSCAPE, THE DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN HOME AND WORK HAVE BLURRED. THE CONCEPT OF CONNECTED SPACES REFLECTS THIS EXCITING SHIFT, HIGHLIGHTING OUR OPPORTUNITIES TO CREATE HU-MANCENTRIC, MULTI-FUNCTIONAL ENVIRONMENTS THAT SERVE OUR NEEDS.
MENU | ÉCHASSE COLLECTION
Reimagining the classic elegance of glass vases and bowls, the Échasse Series brings a minimalist silhouette with distinguished, playful edge to modern and traditional spaces. Theresa Rand’s playful concept beautifully interprets the word “échasse”: French for “stilts”. The slender, stilt-like supporting legs delicately suspend the glass forms, creating a sense of lightness while ensuring stability.
MENU | TR LIGHTING
TR Bulb is a clever solution for modern city living, inspired by the way people are increasingly becoming urban nomads, moving between cities and countries to pursue careers and life experiences. The first collaboration between MENU and Tim Rundle, TR Bulb is designed to be taken from apartment to apartment – installed by simply screwing it into the pendant sockets hanging in ceilings all over the world, no electrical expertise required. The dimmable LED bulb, with its elegant, spherical form hides the lamp fitting, while the opal glass diffuser creates an even, harmonious glow, preventing glare.
MENU | DANCING PENDANT
The Menu Dancing Pendant puts that principle into practice that Design is an art of storytelling according to Copenhagen duo Iskos-Berlin. Exquisite yet with a playful twist, the lamp has the look of a dancer’s pleated skirt caught flaring-up mid-twirl. A simply stunning addition to your home. The Menu Dancing pendant will grace any minimalist architecture or simply create a beautiful new look for your existing space.
MENU | TURNING TABLES
The Knitting Chair is beautiful from every angle, making it easy to place anywhere in a room. Given the chair’s enveloping comfort, it has a relatively small footprint, which makes it an easy fit in compact interiors as well as in more spacious ones. The design also stands out on comfort – the result of Kofod-Larsen’s constant care to ensure ideal angles and lumbar support. The clean, sculptural lines – achieved through the designer’s close work with joiners – and the high-end, natural materials make for an unforgettable, conversation-sparking silhouette.
The Knitting Chair is useful for everything from small restaurant spaces and bedsides to exhibition spaces. The shine of the honed marble surface against the matte steel results in a versatile visual identity that is both modernist and industrial.
MENU | TAILOR SOFA
The Tailor Sofa by Menu is especially beautiful from behind. The sofa has a light and airy appearance, the structured upholstered part supported by the wooden frame for a comfortable and practical sofa for everyday use. The Menu Tailor Lounge Sofa was designed by Rui Alves: “I wanted to show all of it, the structure, the beautiful oak wood. Nothing should be hidden, as is normally done in sofa design. The sofa is meant to be seen from all sides.”
